I bought the car in March 2013, previously owned by 3 members of one family. Carried out a full restoration over the next year.

Based on existing Lotus galvanised chassis, everything else checked and tested, overhauled or replaced; interior completely retrimmed. Bodywork repaired and repainted original Cirrus White by Fibreglass Services (Miles Wilkins). Mechanical work done by Max Hurst at Lakeside Engineering.

No expense spared! Back on the road March 2014, rebuilt engine, including newly relinered block with new fast road camshafts & pistons in Spring 2015. Total mileage 52k, 7k of which since restoration, includes trip to France with Club Lotus. Winner, Historic Lotus Club Autoglym trophy in 2016. Club Lotus insurance valuation £42k. Fantastic car to drive. Selling to make space for a new project. Price £34k, including a few bits and pieces such as the original radio and workshop manual. MOT to end February 2018 (will be renewed this coming February).
