Chassis no. 1427, a series two Elite, was delivered on September 23rd 1960 and a road car to David Buxton, team principle of Team Elite - the successful multiple Le Mans class winning team.

Rebuilt into a Race car by Simon Hadfield in 1986, its first race was the 1986 Brands Hatch Super Prix and it went on to achieve many podium and class wins including a class win at the Spa Six Hour meeting. Regular winner in the UK, it has raced internationally including the Coppa D'Italia, Spa, Zandvoort and many others. In 2018 it was invited to compete in the Goodwood Moss trophy. The car comes with 10-year FiA papers, valid until 2028.

Totally rebuilt in the last three years regardless of cost, the car has a high specification with a low mileage race engine and lightweight Turrino alloy wheels. Fully race ready including in-date seat, belts and fire extinguisher.
