Just to make a change from Lotus, John and Doreen Luck organised a day at the Lasham Gliding Centre where members could fly in the gliders or just enjoy the lunch.
This was a very popular event and the centre arranged for four gliders to be available throughout the day. Experienced pilots and total novices alike all had their chance to take the controls and fly for themselves over the Hampshire countryside.
By popular demand a second day has been requested for sometime during 2010.
